Guitarist & songwriter creating universal themes through music.
Throughout his life, music has been Anthony Lemieux’s driving passion. Beginning as a guitarist in his teenage years, he evolved into a multifaceted artist—songwriter, performer, recording artist, engineer, and producer. As an academic researcher and professor, he has explored the profound role music plays in people’s lives. Through understanding and experiencing music from multiple perspectives, he says, “When I write a song, it comes from a place of authenticity and emotion, and I hope that there is something in there that speaks to the listener. And I hope that the song speaks for itself.”
Anthony is an accomplished musical performer known for his dynamic stage presence and exceptional ability on guitar, notably with his previous groups Maryhouse and Goodpeople. In recent years, he has reconnected with his love for creating music, collaborating with numerous artists to write and record compositions spanning multiple styles and genres. These original works reflect his deep emotional connection to his craft, resonating with listeners on a profound level.
With an unwavering dedication to his music, Anthony continues to have something to say, songs to share, and a desire to push creative boundaries. Through his artistry, he aims to inspire listeners and, just maybe, leave a bit of positive impact in the world.
